Help!please!?

For about two weeks i have been having very peculiar skin(so i think) problem. One night i began to notice that on my left foot on the top of it the skin was unfamiliarly sensetive to touch. We never i touched my sock or the top of foot it felt as if the skin was irritated and a burning sensation came. Later that week i began a dance class the problem became a bit more sever because now any time i wore shoe the top of the foot alon with sides of toes flet irritated as soon and any part of the shoe touched it. I began to wear sandals for a week and after 4 days i put a shoe on and a sock and it felt normal as soon as 2 days past i began to notice disconfort again. I have been putting lutirmim for 2 days but i see litle sighs of athelets foot no scaling, the skin lookes perfectly normal. Whene the problem started and got worse, whenever i put a sock on it felt as if it burned a little. What might it be?

Help!please!?
A few ideas:

1) maybe an allergy to a detergent you are using to wash your socks or the material the socks are made of, especially if the socks or the detergent are new.

2) your shoes may be rubbing against your toes/feet if they don't fit properly

3) some sort of nerve damage--nerve damage can cause strange tingling or burning sensations or can make things that normally shouldn't hurt (such as a sock rubbing against your foot) painful. I don't know why you would have this, unless maybe at some point you injured your foot--you did mention you go to dance class.

I don't know if any of these are the cause, but if you did recently get new socks, shoes, or detergent, you could try switching back to the old ones to see if that helps. If that's not the case, or this doesn't help after a few days, I would probably see your doctor.
