Mine was Pro-wings from Pay Less shoes. In the winter with it was really cold, the sole would always split in half across the bottom at the top part of the shoe.
What did you hate wearing as a kid, that you had no choice but to wear cause momma said so?
i had to wear like, those bright colored (i.e. hot pink, neon green, orange...) stirrup leggings.
then she would put those scrunch socks over them.
it was ridiculous! OMG!
and i had those friggin 2 tone horse riding shoes. I can't even remember the name. They were so preppy and stiff and made my feeet look HUGE. (i even knew this at like, age 6)
hahaha! ugh. and dresses with crinolin under them(spelling?) That itchy, gross material that made dresses puff out? bleh.
Reply:dresses... tomboys dont wear dresses!
Reply:There were several things:-
1) Brown checked trousers made of itchy itchy fabric.
2) Mittens on string-thru-coat-sleeves (string always being too short!).
3) These awful pleated skirts that were attached to a nylon 'vest' so you'd wear a jumper over the top and practically pass out with the heat.
Reply:Corderoy pants. Those were the worst. Everytime you walk you'd hear that swish swish sound and people would know you're coming. You couldn't even run away from Jason or Michael Myers, cause they'd here your a** coming a mile away..lol.
Reply:the old-school clothes she would make herself....and most of the time they would match my sister's that was made for her, too. and they were always sooooo itchy!
Reply:Underpants.
Reply:Mom would put me in cable knit tights. I hated them. Now I wouldn't mind having a pair! Funny how that happens.
Reply:Corduroys pants and buster brown shoes..lmao!
Reply:A stupid fur hat in the winter. I hated it.
Reply:Liberty bodices,with those awful rubber buttons!(probably B4 your time!)
Mittens with string through your sleeves so you didn`t lose them.
And multicolour fair isle jumpers that my gran used to knit.
Reply:Scarfs and Hats - my Mom was annoying with that!
Reply:Any outfit that had a specific pair of pants to match the shirt and to bring it all together a belt too!
ie, pink pants with the pink, yellow and white stripe shirt and a white cloth belt.
How special!
