With what part of your foot do you kick a soccer ball?

I was taught to kick it with with the part of my foot that has the shoe laces. Recently I was told this is incorrect. When shooting at the goal, which part of your foot do you kick with?

Every single part of the foot has a goal in it---you just have to pick the right part at the right moment, to get the right result.
Reply:it basically depends on what you are doing if passing its usually the inside of your foot and when shooting you can toe it or kick the ball with the part where your laces are
Reply:Well you're supposed to kick it with the part where your big toe is but not literally just there and when passing a a soft kick use the inside of your foot well hope this helps.
Reply:if you want accuracy, kick with the inside of the foot. if you need power , kick with the front part (similar to Rosicky). for tapping in, both are useful. if u r in a one-on-one situation, the outer part can be used to roll the ball past the keeper
Reply:well there are many different ways and this site should show you how

Reply:depends on what you are trying to do, a swinging cross, a short sharp pass, a goal kick, a powerful drive - all are different.
Reply:any part of your foot, except the toe.The inside of your foot and outside, also the lases.
