It's a backless shoe and my dog chewed up the heel part. Where can I go to have it fixed? Just a shoe department? Or could I possibly just have a seamstress do it?
I have looked on the internet for the brand but they don't carry this type of shoe anymore...
I borrowed a pair of shoes and my dog chewed one of them up?
You need an actual shoe repair shop.
And kudos to you for being a responsible friend and seeking to fix was was damaged in your possession! I wish there were more people out there like you!
Reply:I've had some heel work done on shoes and they never are quite the same. If I were you I would be honest with your friend first and give her the option of you either paying for them or having a local shoe repair place fix them up, hopefully better than new. Your friendship is worth WAY more than a pair of shoes and a real friend will understand.
Reply:Check your area for a shoe repair shop and see if they can fix it. If they are not able be ready to buy a nicely chewed pair of shoes. :)
Reply:That sucks... but yeah, you should go to a shoe repair shop if there are any nearby you.

Reply:ask the closest shoe store.
Reply:Try a shoe repair shop. If they can't be put back the way they were, it is only right to explain what happened as it was an accident and then make retribution. You say they don't carry the shoe anymore, so that is even more reason to tell the lady what happened.
Reply:check the phone book--old school i know, but it may be listed under "cobbler"
