Nike+Ipod HELP!!!?

OK, so like, in May-ish of 2007, I bought the nike ipod connector thing for my pink 2nd gen, 4 gb nano. I used it all summer and it worked fine. But then in the fall, I stopped using it because I had lost the connector. Last week, I found the connector and now i have both parts. But for some reason, when I try to use it, the Ipod says that it cannot detect the router thing (the part thats in my shoe). I know that I have it in there right, but I dont know whats wrong. Can someone please help? Thanks.

dude i have exactly the same get-up as you! exactly!!! yeah, so i would try bring the sensor closer to your 'pod, and see if that works. it might just be too afar in your shoe when you try and conect it. so bring it closer, then put it in your shoe. good luck!! i love it, its amazing aint it?
