Which spikes go where?

So i just bought track spikes yesterday and today as i was putting them in i noticed that there were 12 spikes and 2 flat spike things i guess.


and there are 7 holes on each shoe


i'm just wondering which part of the shoe the flat ones go in

Which spikes go where?
the flat ones (blanks) go where ever you want them, if there is a hole in the middle of the foot the blank would probably be best there since you want spikes all along the outside edge of the shoe.
Reply:dont worry same thing happened to me.. the flat spike goes into the middle hole on the row closest to your heel
