How to attach rhinestones to rubber toe part of toddler's canvas shoes?

I do not want to use glue ( I would hate for the rhinestone to come off and become a choking hazard). I want a way to set the stones into the rubber by means of heating it, but do not know what type of tool to use. Someone said a "cool gun"...but do not know what that is.

I think they mean use a hot gun to melt it into the rubber. I've never actually done that, but I have lit rubber on fire. And things mostly stick to hot rubber.

You should really use google, and find a good answer.
Reply:E - 6000 is a great glue ;))))
Reply:I think attempting this is a choking hazard. You cannot guarentee the stone will not come loose, no matter what method you use. Besides a protruding sharp object on her shoe could end up hurting her or someone else
