GIRLS, what do you put inside the front of pumps so there's no GAP at the back?

say this shoe for example but higher, like 3.5-4 inches...isn't there something that you can put INSIDE the shoe at the front of the shoe so that your entire foot isn't squashed at the front since your entire foot is on a slant and therefore under pressure? because sometimes when you wear shoes like that there's a gap from the back of the shoe to the back of your foot, if you know what i mean. my friend said there is something you can put inside the shoe and the pointy part to make it so your foot fits snugly and won't come out when you're walking. what is that thing called and how much is it??
