Is it hard for you to get rid of your belongings ?

Like go through and get rid of old ,clothes and SHOES or other items?

to a point that it seems that i dont own them, because they own me.
Reply:No, if I don't use it, I get rid of it.
Reply:yes i do, i cant seem to throw any thing away...!!!
Reply:Oooohhh......I was gonna say no, my door doesn't lock and people keep coming in and stealing from me.
Reply:Definately.
Reply:doesn't bother me at all...they are just things....but i am sentimental about photos, journals, things of that nature.
Reply:No. My ex-wife threw away boxes of my stuff one time when I wasn't home, not knowing what she was doing. She wound up throwing away things like my stereo remote!
Reply:I am a junk collector...love those yard sales. Hard to part with it but what helped me is going through Goodwill and realizing all the little junks that were there was because a person probably died and the kids were getting rid of the junk. I saved a bit of this and a bit of that because I thought some day my kids might like it. I realized it would be more of a burden for them than a blessing. What also helped me is finding benefit type yard sales where they are looking for contributions. I figure if it will go to something positive then it will be easier. Our church had one recently to put a roof on a school. I have gotten rid of 5 large tubs of junk this way. God bless you and keep praying for God to help you become organized. Mmm

Reply:No not at all..I hate clutter and only keep things at the bare minimum. Its not good for your soul to be materialistic. Besides, if your not using it..there is always someone less fortunate than can.

Reply:Yes, but I get that from my father. We have over 30 pink slips...he still has his fist car, my mother, and both of my brothers. Pack rats unite!
Reply:Yeah, old cd's, books, clothes. I'm always like, "Dude, remember this!" I'm very sentimental.

Reply:i used to be terrible about getting rid of things but the past few years i have moved so much that i get rid of clutter and now i can move everything i have in my car. i keep my pictures and everything else can be replaced

Reply:YES! I've been trying to do that this past week and boy is it hard! took 6 big bags to the shelter and thats a drop in the bucket..... hate getting rid of stuff! Its a family curse.....
Reply:nah, i think that might be OCD related though.
Reply:Yeah, it kind of ends up stashed in a closet that I never look at anymore.
Reply:No...I dont do the pack rat thing. It makes me crazy.
