What should i do?

i run most ly on my heels and my shoes gets really worn out after about 200 miles of training during summer xc camp. The front part of the shoes is still pretty good and can handle 100 more miles. I cant keep buying shoes. any suggetions?

What should i do?
The main suggestion is to stop over striding so you do not land heal first. Even if you are running slow and easy you should land more flat footed, not heal first. You are landing with your foot in front of your center of gravity which causes you to break with your muscles before you pass over the foot and begin to run. This causes the muscles in your legs to tire too soon, or before they should. Running is a pushing motion, not a pulling motion. Extend your stride behind you not in front. Your shoes should wear more evenly and the front part under the ball of your foot should be wearing. You recognize that the shoe wear is not correct, just think about running relaxed and not reaching out in front.
Reply:You need to change your stride. You will get injuries from running on your heels. Your heels should be the first thing to touch the ground but then smoothly roll your weigh to your toes. Think about this motion with every step and before long it will be natural.
