My shoes feel tight around the wide part of my foot. How do I fix this problem so I can wear them?

I just got new heels, and the area of the foot right below the toes where there is a protruding bone on the outer side of the foot is kind of wide for the shoe. That pressure point on my right foot starts to hurt when I wear them...how can I loosen them up so it doesnt push on that bone?

a shoe stretcher works in a well made pair of shoes. nowadays, the material is of a different quality than when shoes were made entirely by hand.

try the stretcher but be careful about damaging the shoe or permananetly overstretching the material because then you will get a permanently warped look.
Reply:Stuff them real tight with wet newspaper and then let them dry
Reply:buy a shoe stretcher. My dad uses them. Theyre like wood things you pull apart once inside the shoe and they make the shoe wider. Good luck!
