Can you help me with these shoes? 10 pts for best answer?

i recently bought these shoes. the only problem is that they are a little too big for me and the next size down is too small, so i just decided to go with it:

my question is: is there a safe way in shrinking the black canvas (the top part) so it can form to my feet better? like soaking it in water and drying it with heat? i know it won't shrink the base of the shoe, but i just want to shrink the top part. anything helps. thanks!

Wet them and put them in a hot dryer. Guaranteed to shrink!

Reply:Maybe the soaking/drying thing with heat will work.


Just be careful washing your vans because the colors fade alot.
