When i walk i hear this wierd sound. any ideas on what it might be?

when i walk i hear this wierd screaching sound, very quick and not too loud, no pain at all, like a loose screw in a moving part. i thought it was my shoe, but i take it off and i can still hear it. very wierd....just wondering if anyone had any ideas out there in internet land.

My right ankle makes a clicking sound all the time...I don't know why....you may just have two bones rubbing together...if you really want to find out what it is see a Dr.
Reply:it can be the bones in your feet i get the same sound.. it sounds lk knuckle cracking...
Reply:If you place your hand or your knee as you walk can you feel and grinding sensation? Just curious joints do odd things. I never realized it til my wife pointed it out but my ankles sound like rice crispies in the morning. Doesn't hurt though so I just ignore it for now.
Reply:erm no idea lol, the only thing I can think of is there something on your coat catching on something as you walk or a piece of jewelry doing the same. Not much help I know sorry.
Reply:I would be guessing but it could be your knee joint because mine makes a kinda creaky noise when I walk.

If no pain then don't worry, just take vitamin c and change your diet. It could be that your muscles are under stress and your mobility is decreasing. If at all worried why not visit the gp?
Reply:Litte man on your left shoulder.
Reply:is your metal leg falling off? You do know you have to torque those bolts down to at least 80lbs.
