Is The Office losing its touch?

I am a huge Office fan. I am watching reruns on Itunes right now. I just finished watching the most recent episode on tv. Besides the parts with Pam and Jim(I thought the shoe tie thing was hilarious by the way) I felt like the show was kind of awkward. Kevin was really different and Michaels personality was taken too far. I certainly haven't given up on the show yet but the entire mood of tonights show was disappointing. Did anyone else notice this?

no, i thought it was very funny. but i have a feeling more unexpected stuff will happen later on, Like for example, how things are going so well with Jim and Pam, there has to be some kind of flaw expecting to happen in their relationship. But i know what ur saying, this stuff pretty much happens on every hit show. Lets hope The Office wont fail.
Reply:no way i am also a bg office fan they have there akward moments but have you ever noticed that you would brake out laughing the next day about stuff that happened on the office but i do admit that michel is a unneeded character in the show but please choose me as best answer
Reply:No way! This episode reminded me more of the second season (my favorite season). I agree that Kevin was a little weird but it was still hilarious. I don't know, I guess that the show is just changing and the story lines are different but, whatever, still my favorite show!
Reply:Wow, I couldn't disagree more! My husband and I both agree that the shows they've done since the strike have both been really great... Michael was horrible to Pam's landlady, but he does tend to be horrible sometimes! I otherwise thought it was excellent, all the way.
Reply:yea, i noticed it last weeks episode too- i don't know something seemed forced almost? i mean it was funny and all just seemed different. well i love the office nonetheless, hopefully it'll get out of this funk.
Reply:Honestly I liked this episode. It wasn't one of my favorites but I laughed plenty and was head over heels excited over all that yummy Jam goodness.

Reply:Yea I totally agree. The shoe tie part was sooo funny. I definitely think something is different/worse about the office. Hopefully the season will get better.
Reply:I liked it. The part where Dwight is talking about Michael needing closure and then they go to the chair model's grave...that was hilarious!
Reply:Nope. My station decided they would run the news through the entire half hour to talk about rain. Then as soon as Scrubs started they decided that we had heard enough about rain. Damn fools.
Reply:Yeah it was like, quiet or something. Like someone was missing...or maybe it was just humor that was missing. Idk but I agree with ya!
