Can someone give me a suggestion on what I can do to fix a slight problem with my marc jacob sandals???

I got these marc jacobs sandals a while ago and really love them..but everytime I wear them the tip of the sandal cuts the skin on the top of my toe(right below my nail) and it not only hurts but makes me not wear the shoes because of it..Can someone give me a suggestion on how I can fix them to prevent it..the shoes are plastic by the way..

The part of the shoes that does the damage is the tip on the top of the front part of the shoe..sorry I wish I could describe it better..

Reply:i would say just try to break them in, make the leather softer but i know exactly what you're feeling... i had the same problem with a nother pair and i just ended up suffereing through it cause they're too cute!

i think it should be okay if you cut off that tip, or try to bend in and sew it to the one thats attached to its tip. but im sure it gonna be hard if ya gonna sew it.





so i guess best is to trim off the tip carefully, and if the plastic is able to melt, it would be better if you heat a little piece of metal and try to rub on the trimmed tip, to smoothen the edge. Do not use fire directly on that, cos it would leave black mark/stain or even damage it.





Alternatively, you could call up or go to the marc jacob's store and ask for the assistant to trim off that tip, if it can be done.
